The Company

30 years of experience and over 2,500 projects ranging from watching briefs, geophysical surveys, evaluations and desk-based assessments to substantial area excavations. TVAS has had a regional office in Wellingborough since 2018 from which we cover the East Midlands and East Anglia.

Scientific Dating Archive

TVAS is undergoing a programme of collating and uploading all scientific dates with a range from the Neolithic to Post-medieval periods. The database provides information about the samples tested along with the option to download or purchase the PDF report. Click here to access the database.

Six burials uncovered on a relatively small parcel of land in Guildown, Surrey, three of which are found to exhibit elements that are atypical of Saxon burial practices
